I had the tape and would listen thru lots of at best mediocre tracks
to get to "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and "Hysteria" (song). Some liked
"Love Bites."

So which is better: "Rocket" or "Rocket Queen"?

Rocket Queen is better hands down. Hysteria is a solid album, imho. The weaker
tracks would be Don't Shoot Shotgun, Run Riot, Excitable, and Love and
Affection

Pyromania was their landmark album even though Hysteria beat it by sales I
believe. A much better rocking album than Hysteria

I really like the first two Def Leppard albums, "On Through the Night" and
"High N' Dry." Great albums.

Well, i think the album is good. OK, there's not much good bands like gn'r.
Comparing any album with gn'r is like comparing the mediocre, or near-good
with the perfect. So i say hysteria is not a bad album, it has some good
tracks on it -especially my fave run riot and maybe gods of war. But the
album is cheesy, that's a fact. one of the best moments of hair metal in the
'80s. And band band WAS a good hard rock band around that time. It's another
thing, that the band is blown out from ideas nowadays, and clearly weak..
